Allí los gobernantes de turno asignaban jugosas sumas por publicidad a los periodistas que a la vez convertían sus noticieros de Radio en parlantes gigantes de lo divino y lo humano que pasaba en la gobernación o en la alcaldía.

La Radio era el único medio con poder de cuestionar al gobernante y por lo tanto en cierta forma tenía un poder político.
» Un rebuzno o un alarido» de un locutor-periodista por la Radio ponía en serios aprietos al gobernador o al alcalde.
No faltó el alcalde que a trompadas y en calzoncillos perseguía a su mujer por las calles de san José del Guaviare.

El alcalde vociferaba a los cuatro vientos en una noche sin estrellas y de luna clara y de tragos y de desamor que «su bella mujer lo amara más».
Eso pedía.
Pero, lo sorprendente, fue que los que más » rebuznaban» formaron un «sindicato delincuencial«.
Estos presionaban al gobernador y al alcalde de turno y hacían nombrar a uno de los suyos en la Secretaría de Prensa y entre ellos mismos se repartían los contratos dejando la partecita del león para el Secretario, y que no faltó el Secretario que intentó el cruce de publicidad por favores amorosos, alboroto que algunas perjudicadas armaron en su momentos.

Era un Secretario ávido de leche materna porque a algunas damas de su oficina les decía:» Quiero su lechecita».
Así que el periodista – locutor – vendedor de publicidad o de tangas costeñas que no figuraba en el CUADRO estaba condenado al suplicio de morir de pena radial por ausencia de pauta publicitaria de la gobernación y de la alcaldía.
Hoy las cosas cambiaron.Un «rebuzne, un picoteo de gallo o un alarido» de un periodista- locutor- o vendedor de tangas no tiene ninguna importancia para alcalde y gobernador.

Las emisoras en AM desaparecieron de la audiencia de otras épocas y las emisoras en FM los poderosos grupos económicos las compraron dejando en la calle a los periodistas- locutores- y vendedores de tangas costeñas.
Y, desde luego, la internet, los youtuber, las redes sociales terminaron con la Radio tradicional.
Vistas así las cosas funcionarios como Zuluaga y Harman humillan a los periodistas, nunca los reciben en sus despachos y botaron al basurero el famoso CUADRO, mandan la millonada a los grandes medios económicos con » la esperanza de llegar a ser presidentes de Colombia».

Y cuando quieren anunciar algo de interés para ellos, trepan sus patas de avestruz sobre sus escritorios, ponen su celular al frente y dicen un poco de barbaridades descriteriadas y con una bella egipcia de Prensa que les abanica las sentaderas y los pone virulentos con la contratación.
Mientras tanto y casi generalmente para los gastos médicos y las honras fúnebres de un verdadero pionero del periodismo regional hay que hacer» tapazos» y colectas.
