Las jóvenes aprendices de la TECNOACADEMIA SENA Huila en Neiva, Mariana Zárate y Estefanía Alzate, crearon el dispositivo Solar-Tree, un sistema de carga solar para dispositivos móviles utilizando energías limpias y sustentables.
El dispositivo funciona a través de un panel solar que capta la energía, la almacenada en una batería que acoplada a un adaptador USB, puede conectarse a los teléfonos celulares para ser cargados.
El prototipo, ensamblado con cartón y plástico reciclados, está programado a un sistema embebido ‘arduino’ – plataforma de hardware que facilita el uso de la electrónica – que permite, con un motor, desplazar el panel solar en el ángulo ‘azimut’ o ángulo de desplazamiento del sol.
