La Agencia Nacional de Infraestructura (ANI), inició proceso para recepcionar ropuestas de consorcios interesados en construir un tercer carril, en cada sentido, de la autopista Bogotá-Girardot por medio de una Asociación Público Privada de Iniciativa Privada (APP-IP).
El Vicepresidente de la República, Germán Vargas Lleras, explicó que en noviembre de 2015, cuatro firmas constructoras adicionales, manifestaron su interés de participar en este proceso, estructurado y presentado ante el Gobierno Nacional por la empresa Infraestructura Concesionada S.A.S.
La inversión estimada para su construcción es de $1,71 billones, y contempla frentes de obra que iniciarán en el Túnel de Sumapaz e irán hasta el municipio de Granada, a lo largo de 67 kilómetros. Igualmente, el proyecto estipula el mantenimiento y la rehabilitación de 154,81 kilómetros de vía existente.
Las empresas interesadas son:
- Infraestructura Concesionada SAS (originador del proyecto)
- Concesionario Vías del Desarrollo, integrado por Bentos SAS (75 %) y China Gezhouba Group Company Limited Sucursal Colombia (25%)
- Empresa OHL Concesiones SAS (100%)
- Estructura Plural TC Girardot – Bogotá, integrada por Cass Constructores & Cia S.C.A. (50%) y Carlos Alberto Solarte Solarte (50%)
- Estructura Plural Vías a Girardot, integrada por Industrial Concretos SAS (30%) y Concreto Internacional S.A. (70%)
Por su parte, el Presidente de la ANI, Luis Fernando Andrade, recordó que uno de los principales beneficios que traen al país las Asociaciones Público Privadas de Iniciativa Privada (APP-IP), es que el total de los recursos de inversión son asumidos por las empresas privadas encargadas de ejecutar los trabajos.
