Hoy, todo un gremio del Huila, se siente ofendido por los términos injuriosos con los que el Representante a la Cámara Jaime Felipe Lozada, califica al periodista Carlos Andrés Pérez Trujillo.
El gremio periodístico de la región se pronunció, a través de La Corporación de Periodistas, Comunicadores Sociales y Trabajadores de Medios de Comunicación del Huila –CORPEHUILA – que con documento exige el respeto como pilar que deben conservar Los Servidores Públicos en un país Democrático y un Estado de Derecho, como Colombia.
EL PODER Y EL IRRESPETO A LOS CIUDADANOS
La Corporación de Periodistas, Comunicadores Sociales y Trabajadores de Medios de Comunicación del Huila – CORPEHUILA -, se permite expresar pública y enfáticamente su rechazo a la conducta desplegada por el representante a la Cámara por el Huila, Jaime Felipe Lozada Perdomo, contra el periodista, abogado y docente Carlos Andrés Pérez Trujillo en las redes sociales del congresista, específicamente en su cuenta de Facebook.
En su condición de servidor público, con la más alta investidura del Poder Legislativo y a quien su generoso sueldo le es pagado gracias a los impuestos de los colombianos, el señor Lozada Perdomo está no solo en el deber sino también en la obligación de respetar las opiniones de todos los ciudadanos mucho más que cualquier otra persona. Sus calificativos de “mediocre”, “fracasado” e “incompetente”, y sus afirmaciones falsas respecto de las razones por las cuales el periodista Pérez Trujillo dejó de prestar servicios a un medio de comunicación, no solo constituyen una violación de esas obligaciones, sino que son una ramplona expresión de abuso de poder y de arrogancia de quien, al contrario, está llamado a dar ejemplo y proceder con los más altos niveles de decencia.
Al mismo tiempo, esta agremiación destaca que el congresista Lozada Perdomo se haya excusado en la misma red social Facebook y haya reconocido su equivocación, lo cual no obsta para hacer este pronunciamiento y exigirle a él y demás altos servidores a que, en lo sucesivo, respeten no solo las opiniones y el trabajo de los periodistas y medios de comunicación, sino también de todos los ciudadanos que, en su legítimo ejercicio de libertad, cuestionan, critican e incluso pueden lanzar expresiones fuertes hacia ellos. Estar en la vida pública, y gozar de sus beneficios señor Lozada Perdomo, implica a su vez someterse a diario al escrutinio de cualquier persona, e incluso admitir que estos puedan lanzar improperios, lo cual, por supuesto no ocurrió en el caso del periodista Carlos Andrés Pérez, quien hizo un comentario decente, quizá sarcástico, pero no insultante, en la cuenta de Facebook basado en una foto de la cual usted no precisó la fecha de origen.
