El gremio periodístico del Huila, representado en CORPEHUILA, renovó sus cuadros de Gobierno, para los próximos dos años, conforme al mandato estatutario.
Con nutrida participación y la presencia de Periodistas y Comunicadores Sociales de los Municipios, se realizó la Asamblea General Ordinaria de la organización gremial en el salón Exploratoria del Centro cultural del Banco de la República.
En medio de camaradería y entusiasmo se desarrollaron las deliberaciones, enmarcadas por el informe del Presidente, la Tesorera y la Fiscal; la elección tanto de La Junta Directiva como del grupo de Vigilancia y Control; la demarcación de ejes temáticos para la formulación del plan de acción bianual del Gobierno Corporativo y la presentación de iniciativas reales de ejecución ende inmediato.

El período, de la Junta Directiva elegida en el mes de junio de 2.020, para dos años, padeció el rigor de la Pandemia, obligando a modificar todo el trabajo gremial previsto para el bienio.
En Medio de esa crítica situación, se desarrollaron actividades para mantener el vigor gremial, desde luego impactado, prolongado hasta el momento, por falta de apropiación a la organización, por parte de sus Miembros, consecuencia de ese aislamiento obligatorio, característica que la propia FECOLPER trató de conjurar con estrategia organizado en diciembre de 2.021, con proyección a tres meses, pero sin alcanzar el objetivo.

Entre esas acciones concretas de la Junta están:
1- Participación virtual en la Asamblea General ordinaria del 2020 de FECOLPER y presencial en la del 2021. En la última concurrieron cuatro Miembros y uno delegó el voto. En esta reunión CORPEHUILA propuso la marca única del gremio FECOLPER, para fortalecerlo en el país, porque las denominaciones regionales muestran debilidad, distanciamiento, disgregación, desarticulación y descoordinación ante el público. Ejemplo: FECOLPER es CORPEHUILA en la región. La propuesta no alcanzó mayoría de votos.
2- Consolidó la presentación de dos proyectos:
- Reingeniería al concurso de periodismo regional Carlos Salamanca.
- Reingeniería al concurso municipal de Periodismo Reynaldo Matiz Trujillo. El primero es Ordenanza y falta la apropiación por parte del Gobernador; el segundo está en Primer debate en el Concejo de Neiva, pero el alcalde de Neiva está opuesto a la iniciativa. Los textos de las dos iniciativas están publicados en la página de la Corporación.
3- Durante los últimos 24 meses, se incentivó la participación de los Miembros en todas las capacitaciones, actualizaciones, formaciones propuestas realizados desde FECOLPER a través de Foros, Talleres, Seminarios, Jornadas académicas, encuentros virtuales, conversaciones formativas especializadas, Conferencias técnicas y páneles, con el objetivo de brindar herramientas para el ejercicio Periodístico dentro de la crisis. Las convocatorias e invitaciones se adelantaron empleando: la página Web, el Facebook, el Grupo CORPEHUILA, los Correos Electrónicos y en algunos casos llamadas telefónicas. En todos los eventos académicos programados, hubo baja participación de los Periodistas Miembros.

4- No se dejó pasar ningún acto que, vulnerando los derechos humanos de los Periodistas del Huila, no fuera considerado por CORPEHUILA mediante pronunciamientos, socializados, consultados y sustentados. Esos pronunciamientos están en la página Web de la organización.
5- Consolidó la creación, montaje y funcionamiento de la página Web – www.corpehuila.com – y el correspondiente Facebook. La página plasma detalles de la corporación, mantiene información permanente sobre el actuar de CORPEHUILA y, proyecta la imagen fuera de las fronteras regionales. El Facebook live permite trasmitir eventos, seminarios, reuniones, encuentros, foros, paneles y eventos culturales de interés para los Miembros ya sean Periodistas, Comunicadores Sociales o Trabajadores de Medios de Comunicación.
6- Los grupos de WhatsApp tanto “CORPEHUILA” (Únicamente para Miembros Activos) como “JUNDICOR” (Únicamente para integrantes del Gobierno corporativo: Junta Directiva y Grupo de Control)son medios que entregan información rápida. Las llamadas vía celular, con los miembros son muy difíciles, porque no responden al ser solicitados (con especiales excepciones).
7- Las reuniones de Junta Directiva no fueron regulares, dificultad de miembros para concurrir a deliberar, lo impidieron, pero no fue obstáculo para adelantar Asamblea General Ordinaria de 2021 virtual, con asistencia de quorum mínima.

8- La Tesorera ha desarrollado un trabajo juicioso y responsable, permitiendo disponer de una contabilidad bien organizada y clara. Los fondos de la Corporación están en la cuenta de ahorros 534-854104-45 del Banco de Colombia y en caja menor (No hay tarjeta, sino libreta) y los fondos se mueven de acuerdo a lo dispuesto por Tesorería. Un Contador externo elabora la declaración de renta anual, la del 2021 ya se presentó. Generalmente para pagar gastos El Director Ejecutivo presta el recurso y luego lo legaliza ante Tesorería. Hubo admistía: Quien pague $100.000 queda al día a 31 de diciembre de 2.021. Se adelantó intensa campaña de información para que los Miembros cumplan con el pago del sostenimiento; no hubo buena respuesta.
9- Hubo amplia difusión para adquisición del Carné Internacional de Periodistas, (Lo expide la FIP) deben ser miembros de la organización. La Corporación es responsable, como organización gremial, de la veracidad en los datos proporcionados por el solicitante. Los dineros entran a tesorería de CORPEHUILA y desde allí se giran a FECOLPER.
10- Organizó la celebración del Día Nacional del Periodista (2020 y 2021) con programaciones e invitados especiales; en el ,2021 se desarrolló jornada desde el primer piso de la Gobernación del Huila. Festejo El Día de la Mujer 2021 con acto en el Teatro Pigoanza, fueron artífices, en esa organización, María del Carmen y Yohanna Ortiz.

11- Se ha solicitado reunión con el Gobernador del Huila y Alcalde de Neiva, pero ninguno ha dado respuesta.
12-Los último 18 meses hubo un incremento en solicitudes de ingreso cercano al 22%, porcentaje buena parte fue admitida, algunos admitidos no pagaron la cuota de admisión. Todo nuevo ingreso lo aprueba la Junta Directiva por mayoría absoluta y el ingresado es miembro activo con fecha del pago de tesorería de la cuota de admisión.
13- La Corporación certificó, ante la Universidad Abierta y a Distancia, la vinculación de miembros de CORPEHUILA que, desean profesionalización; esas certificaciones corresponden a miembros con amplia experiencia en el ejercicio de Periodistas y equivale a la práctica que solicita la universidad a sus estudiantes de Comunicación Social y Periodismo. Esa certificación la concretó FECOLPER desde hace 5 años.
CORPEHUILA: Gremio periodístico y organización sin ánimo de lucro que defiende la libertad de prensa y de expresión. Es miembro activo de FECOLPER No es Sindicato, ni organización partidista, ni cooperativa y no representa empresas periodísticas.

- Jornada: “Memoria, Territorio y Cultura” en Pitalito.
- Concretar la descentralización del acto de entrega del premio Departamental de Periodismo “Carlos Enrique Salamanca” conforme a la nueva Ordenanza que definió la reingeniería del concurso.
