“La jornada de salud tiene algo muy importante, que también suma, los papitos saben que entre mayo y junio es la jornada de salud. Seguramente hay niños que ya han pasado por un proceso de selección y también han sido operados, ellos también tienen la oportunidad de volver a presentarse y poder culminar esa cirugía que les hace falta para quedar excelentemente bien”, agregó Ivonne Bibiana Estrella, Ejecutiva de la Cámara de Comercio de Neiva, Gerente de la jornada.
Del grupo de valorados, 200 casos serán seleccionados para las cirugías, del 27 al 31 mayo mes, a cargo de 80 profesionales de la salud tanto del Huila como de los que comienzan a llegar en la mañana del 25 de este mes en vuelos comerciales y en aviones de La Fuerza Aérea Colombiana.
Gracias al aporte del sector público y privado de la región y el país, los profesionales visitantes y de la región pueden adelantar la intervención este año a dos centenares de infantes, tal como lo han hecho en los 23 años anteriores.
