Un total de 83 profesionales en diferentes áreas del conocimiento acreditados en Colombia, aspiran al cargo de director regional del Instituto Colombiano de Bienestar Familiar en el Huila. Pero la Dirección General del Instituto señaló que cerca de 1.200 aspirantes se inscribieron en el proceso de méritos, para ocupar cargos de Directores Regionales del Instituto en Amazonas, Arauca, Atlántico, Bolívar, Caldas, Caquetá, Cesar, Córdoba, Huila, La Guajira, Magdalena, Meta, Nariño, Santander, Valle del Cauca y Vichada.
Los aspirantes deberán cumplir con los requisitos mínimos dispuestos en el Manual de Funciones del ICBF como: 72 meses de experiencia profesional relacionada, título profesional (en disciplinas como administración, contaduría, economía, derecho, ciencias políticas, psicología, ingeniería industrial, entre otras) y título de posgrado; los cuales serán verificados por el Departamento Administrativo de la Función Pública, bajo los principios de objetividad, transparencia e imparcialidad.
La Directora General del ICBF, Karen Abudinen Abuchaibe, señaló que las personas aspirantes a ser Director Regional, además de cumplir con los requisitos, deben tener vocación de servicio y de trabajar incasablemente por la protección y garantía de los derechos de las niñas, niños y adolescentes.
De los cerca de 1.200 inscritos, 31 aspirantes se postularon al cargo de Director Regional del ICBF en Amazonas, 39 en Arauca, 69 en Atlántico, 84 en Bolívar, 43 en Caldas, 52 en Caquetá, 98 en Cesar, 113 en Córdoba, 83 en Huila, 75 en La Guajira, 90 en Magdalena, 74 en Meta, 113 en Nariño, 70 en Santander, 106 en Valle del Cauca y 29 en Vichada.
