El Banco Agrario de Colombia, confirmó otorgamiento de crédito por 120 mil millones de pesos a ODEBRECHT, a través de su filial NAVELENA S.A.S., para financiar la etapa de pre construcción del proyecto de recuperación de la navegabilidad del río Magdalena.
La ratificación del crédito, lo revela un comunicado de la entidad financiera, donde señala que los recursos no se entregaron directamente a la cuestionada firma del Brasil, pero sí a su filial en Colombia.
“Si bien la sociedad NAVELENA S.A.S. está conformada por la Constructora Norberto Odebrecht de Colombia Ltda, Odebrecht Participacoes e Investimentos S.A. y Valorcon S.A., para la aprobación del crédito se tuvo en cuenta la estructura financiera del proyecto, que contempla ingresos por $2.5 billones y unas garantías idóneas, representadas en un contrato de fiducia mercantil irrevocable, que cubre la totalidad de la deuda”
El mismo comunicado señala que el compromiso contractual lo incumplió la firma cuestionada organización y por lo tanto comenzó el trámite para el cobro correspondiente.

El Comunicado se origina en la Oficina de Comunicaciones del Banco Agrario, presenta ligosímbolos de la entidad financiera y de entidades del gobierno nacional, pero no lleva firma de responsable alguno
“Bogotá D.C., 18 de enero de 2017
Teniendo en cuenta la información errada que ha venido circulando en algunos medios de comunicación, en relación con un presunto crédito del Banco Agrario de Colombia a la firma Odebrecht, nos permitimos hacer las siguientes aclaraciones a la opinión pública:
- El Banco Agrario de Colombia no ha otorgado crédito alguno a la sociedad Odebrecht.
- En relación con el proyecto de recuperación de la navegabilidad del río Magdalena, sobre el cual Cormagdalena adjudicó a la sociedad Navelena S.A.S. el contrato de asociación público privada No. 001 del 2014, por un valor aproximado de $1.3 billones, el Banco Agrario de Colombia otorgó un crédito por $120.000 millones a dicha empresa para financiar la etapa de pre construcción del proyecto.
- Si bien la sociedad Navelena S.A.S. está conformada por la Constructora Norberto Odebrecht de Colombia Ltda, Odebrecht Participacoes e Investimentos S.A. y Valorcon S.A., para la aprobación del crédito se tuvo en cuenta la estructura financiera del proyecto, que contempla ingresos por $2.5 billones y unas garantías idóneas, representadas en un contrato de fiducia mercantil irrevocable, que cubre la totalidad de la deuda.
- Esta solicitud de crédito fue presentada el 26 de agosto de 2015 por Navelena S.A.S. y aprobada por la Junta Directiva el 12 de noviembre de 2015, cumpliendo con todas las políticas y procedimientos requeridos para este tipo de operaciones, en condiciones de mercado.
- Actualmente, el Banco Agrario se encuentra adelantando las acciones requeridas para el cobro de la obligación, toda vez que están dadas las condiciones para este trámite.
- El Banco Agrario de Colombia es una entidad financiera que destina la mayor parte de sus recursos a financiar el sector agropecuario y rural. De igual forma, atiende otros sectores de la economía, más aún tratándose de proyectos de impacto nacional.”
