Una jornada de limpieza al Río del Oro, que divide al sur del centro de la capital huilense, primer acto, de la Trigésima Semana por La Paz en la diócesis de Neiva, el viernes 1 de septiembre, con el propósito de sensibilizar a la comunidad sobre la importancia de cuidar “Nuestra Casa Común”, como llama El Papa Francisco al planeta Tierra, en su segunda encíclica ‘Laudato Sí’.
Ese día las parroquias de la ciudad, apoyadas por las Instituciones Educativas, realizarán la jornada, desde el Puerto de las Damas hasta la carrera 15, bajo el lema ‘Reconciliándonos con la Naturaleza’, como principio para darle nuevamente la cara al río, hacerlo partícipe del escenario del perdón, “con lo que reflexionaremos conjuntamente del impacto negativo que le estamos ocasionando al medio ambiente”, precisó Monseñor Froilán Casas Ortiz, Obispo de la Diócesis de Neiva.
El mismo día, pero de 2:00 pm a 5:00 m, en la Asamblea Departamental, la Unidad para la Atención y Reparación Integral a las Víctimas, como coordinadora de las instituciones que hacen parte del Sistema Nacional de Atención y Reparación Integral a Victimas, SNARIV, hará presencia con una feria de servicios a la población víctima.
El debate sobre “Las Víctimas y la Construcción de Paz”, será el centro de atención de este encuentro de la unidad.
LA SEMANA
La Trigésima Semana por La Paz, del 1 al 10 de septiembre, coincide con la visita apostólica a Colombia, del 266 Papa de la Iglesia Católica, Apostólica y Romana a Colombia, con la consigna “La justicia social construye Paz”, espera sensibilizar a la ciudadanía de su rol en la construcción de escenarios de reconciliación.
Durante la semana será ocasión propicia para hablar de la crisis humanitaria, la corrupción, el deterioro ambiental, los vacíos del sistema educativo, la ausencia del Estado, la inequidad social, la desintegración en la familia, por ejemplo.
