La Secretaría de Desarrollo Económico, TIC y Turismo de Neiva, junto a la Universidad SURCOLOMBIANA y la multinacional Oil Fox S.A., realizarán el 8 de febrero en el auditorio de la Facultad de Ciencias de la Salud, de la capital huilense, el Primer Encuentro internacional de avances y desarrollos tecnológicos para la producción de energías limpias y renovables, básico en la firma de un convenio bilateral.
Los objetivos de este evento son conocer experiencias exitosas en la generación de energía eléctrica, a partir de los basurales (Modelo Calabria, Italia) y la presentación del proyecto para la producción de microalgas y sus derivados en la generación de proteínas y abono orgánico en el Huila.
Igualmente, harán presencia Pasquale Brizzi, alcalde de Sant’Ilario Dello Lonio y el vicealcalde de esta municipalidad italiana, quienes se reunirán después con el alcalde de los neivanos, Rodrigo Armando Lara Sánchez, para entablar relaciones bilaterales que conduzcan a crear un convenio de cooperación internacional para el intercambio de cultura, ciencia y tecnología.
“Queremos hacer de Neiva un municipio verde y cumplir con todas las políticas públicas medio ambientales que pueden también generar desarrollo económico para todos. La invitación que hacemos a la comunidad neivana, los entes académicos y los empresarios es al encuentro en el que vamos a tener dos conferencistas internacionales: Francesco Antonio Faga de Italia y Jorge Alberto Kaloustian de Argentina”, sostuvo Camilo Chacón Orozco, secretario de Desarrollo Económico, TIC y Turismo de Neiva.
La conferencia tratará dos temas principales: Evaluación de las acciones integradas para gestión de residuos urbanos y Optimización de recursos productivos autosustentables. El evento de entrada libre se realizará el próximo lunes 8 de febrero a partir de las dos de la tarde en el auditorio Amparo Páramo de la Facultad de Salud de la USCO. El gran objetivo es crear una conciencia verde en los habitantes de Neiva.

Sant’Ilario Dello Lonio es una municipalidad de Italia que está generando toda su energía eléctrica a través del aprovechamiento de residuos orgánicos. De esta manera, su mandatario tendrá experiencias exitosas para compartir con Neiva.
“Dentro del Plan de Gobierno ‘La Razón es la gente’ el medio ambiente es vital. El ser humano ha sido un destructor por la inconsciencia ambiental y por ello debemos empezar a pensar en energías limpias a partir de recursos renovables. En Neiva tenemos toda la potencialidad para hacerlo y nos encaminamos en ese sentido”, añadió Chacón Orozco.
