La apertura de un nuevo proceso sancionatorio, del Gobierno Departamental, será notificada, en el curso de los próximos días, a la firma al Consorcio VIASCOL 2016 responsable de ejecutar obras de rehabilitación en las vías Neiva-Tello-Baraya y Neiva-Palermo, por incumplir obligaciones contractuales.
El Departamento Administrativo Jurídico, ya imputó una sanción pecuniaria por $1.495 millones a VIASCOL 2016 y otra por $104 millo a la Cooperativa Profesionales de Colombia “Creer en lo nuestro” como interventora de la obra.
El referido consorcio, se comprometió a ejecutar obras de reparación vial por cerca de 15 mil millones de pesos, y a pesar de cumplido el plazo, no labora en forma responsable, generando considerable retraso, advertido oportunamente por una veeduría ciudadana, que a su vez cuenta con el respaldo de la comunidad de Palermo, Santa María, Tello y Neiva.
