Seis áreas de producción de 18 municipios del Huila, recibirán recursos del Poder Central, para fortalecer  sistemas de tecnificación,  mediante alianzas productivas  que auspicien el progreso económico e impulsen el bienestar social del agricultor regional.

La producción de café especial, queso, cacao, panela, aguacate y mora se beneficiará  con cerca de 23 mil millones  aprobados por el Ministerio de Agricultura para afianzar 22 alianzas productivas, establecidas  en esas áreas, que a su vez recibirán  asistencia técnica del Gobierno Departamental, a juicio del mandatario, Carlos Julio González Villa.

Las alianzas se fortalecerán en Acevedo, Aipe, Algeciras, Baraya, Campoalegre, Hobo, Rivera, Isnos, La Artgentina, La Plara, Oporapa, Palermo, Pitalito, Saladoblanco, San Agustín, Suaza, Tesalia y Timaná, lugares donde estás organizados los productores, en los 6 sectores  que constató el Ministerio.

Ese modelo se extenderá  los 37 municipios de la geografía regional, en la medida que el campesinado responda al proceso de asociatividad, indispensable para garantizar volúmenes  y calidad  en la producción, suficiente, para llegar al mercado nacional, cada día más exigente y competitivo.

“Asociativamente, nuestros empresarios del campo, han logrado posicionar el café huilense como los primeros productores a nivel nacional, con 156 mil hectáreas y con reconocimiento de su calidad a nivel país y en el ámbito internacional”, señaló el gobernador González Villa, a manera de ejemplo de la producción regional, al intervenir en el lanzamiento de La Alianza para el Desarrollo Rural, que hiciera en Neiva La Agencia de Desarrollo Rural y La Oficina de Las Naciones Unidas contra la Droga  y el Delito.
