La estatal empresa SATENA, elaboró video especial sobre el sur del Huila, donde coloca a Pitalito como epicentro para que desde allí, colombianos y extranjeros, comiencen visita a distintos lugares de atracción natural del Departamento.
Pitalito es la única localidad del sur huilense con aeropuerto, (Contador) para llegar y salir vuelos del Servicio Aéreo de los Territorios Nacionales, sobre las rutas Bogotá – Pitalito – Bogotá y Cali – Pitalito – Cali, razón de la escogencia, como punto de partida hacia el turístico recorrido.
El video, es el primero en su género, que una empresa de aviación y además oficial, se elabore para hacer referencia a la riqueza natural que se ofrece en un territorio como el Huila; aunque poca difusión tiene y tendrá es interesante la millonaria inversión silenciosa hecha.
