La alcaldía de Pitalito, en convenio con la Corporación Colombia Vivir, implementará Las Zonas de orientación escolar (ZOE), que implementa en el país el Ministerio de Salud y Protección Social, como estrategia para contrarrestar el consumo de sustancias psicoactivas, entre la población escolar.
Para inducir este proceso, el 27 de octubre se ofrecerá en el municipio, el seminario “Modelo de gestión de implementación de zonas de Orientación Escolar”, a cargo del especialista Uriel Alfonso Medina.
El programa inicialmente se implementará en las instituciones educativas: Nacional, Escuela Normal, José Eustasio Rivera, Montesori, Humberto Muñoz, tal y como lo tiene definido La Secretaria de Salud Municipal.
De esta manera Pitalito, municipio del cono sur del Huila será pionero en el Departamento en la implementación de esta estrategia
¿QUÉ SON LAS ZOE?
Las zonas de orientación escolar (ZOE), son alternativas para manejar situaciones de consumo de sustancias psicoactivas (SPA) al interior de la escuela, también se les identifica como dispositivos de trabajo comunitario que incluye el Modelo de Inclusión Social para consumidores de sustancias psicoactivas (SPA), desarrollado por el Ministerio de Salud y Protección Social.
Se soportan en el abordaje de conceptos como: la escucha, la formación, la mitigación, el reconocimiento de la persona y las redes.
Es propósito de las ZOE, reducir la exclusión social y deserción escolar, mejorar la calidad de vida de los actores, prevenir situaciones de vulnerabilidad, transformar pensamiento y todo lo que genera exclusión, discriminación, estigma y sufrimiento, según lo revela, Islena Vargas, profesional al servicio de la Corporación Colombia Vivir.
