El anuncio de la guerrilla de volver a las armas para mantener su lucha por el poder, no es más que la consecuencia del maltrato que se le ha dado a los acuerdos suscritos en la Habana entre el Gobierno Colombiano y la plana mayor de las FARC.
Quienes desde siempre anhelamos un país en paz, con justicia y equidad social y nos alegramos victoriosos con la firma de los acuerdos, hemos visto como se desmoronan paulatinamente las esperanzas de una reconciliación que permita la convivencia armónica entre todos los colombianos debido a la incapacidad de perdón y los celos de poder por parte de quienes manejan actualmente los hilos del estado.
Entre los ciudadanos surge una infinidad de preguntas frente al futuro inmediato del país, especialmente cual será la respuesta del Gobierno al resurgimiento de la guerrilla más antigua del mundo que durante mas de 60 años dio muestras de fortaleza militar a tal punto de expandir su presencia en todas las regiones.
Otro interrogante latente hoy es si la guerrilla volverá a ocupar los territorios que fueron de su dominio hasta antes de la entrega de las armas o si el Estado está en la capacidad de asumir el control, cosa que no ha hecho en este corto lapso y que, por el contrario, ha permitido que éstos sean ocupados por las mafias del narcotráfico, la minería ilegal y otras organizaciones delincuenciales.
¿Volverán las tomas guerrilleras a poblaciones, los retenes ilegales, las “vacunas” los campos minados, los secuestros de dirigentes políticos y los atentados a la infraestructura por parte de la insurgencia?
¿Se reactivará el paramilitarismo, los ajusticiamientos extrajudiciales, los falsos positivos, las masacres y la intimidación?
¿Se incrementarán los crímenes contra líderes sociales y defensores de los Derechos Humanos?
¿Qué va a pasar con aquellos actores del conflicto que se acogieron a los acuerdos y no quieren regresar a la guerra? ¿Tienen razón quienes afirman que este levantamiento en armas no representa peligro para la estabilidad y la paz nacional? ¿Cómo va a responder el gobierno a esta declaratoria de guerra?
‘¿Serán las libertades públicas las primeras en sufrir los rigores de una nueva confrontación que, por experiencia histórica, sabemos que no va a acabar en el mediano plazo?
¿A quién le corresponde resolver estos y tantos más interrogantes que cada ciudadano colombiano se hace hoy?
Sin duda el tiempo y el desarrollo del devenir nacional irá decantando respuestas para estas preguntas, pero lo que siempre nos vamos a preguntar los colombianos es si hemos desperdiciado la oportunidad de solucionar a través del diálogo, la concertación y el perdón un conflicto de más de medio siglo de existencia.
