Confluyen estas líneas, con el momento en que arrancan las manifestaciones en sendos lugares de la geografía nacional, donde estudiantes inquietos por su presente, y el futuro de sus hijos, se pronuncian sobre la precaria situación por la que atraviesa la educación superior en la Nación, y muy particularmente las públicas, que ven como los recursos atribuidos a su funcionamiento, no corresponden a las necesidades del momento actual de Colombia, y el mundo. Sin lugar a dudas, la Educación juega papel de primerísimo orden a la hora de valorar una sociedad, y la nuestra sí que necesita educación, misma que permita que se conozca en la entraña cada problema, que se logre entender la dinámica de los mismos, pero también importante que se ausculte sobre la solución a ellos, la posibilidad de innovar, y emprender para contribuir al desarrollo.
Quizá uno de los elementos que en mayor medida motivan a pensar porqué sigue existiendo la crítica razonada y sentida en la manera como el Estado asume la responsabilidad sobre la educación, es la circunstancia de que no se ha entendido que ella es un verdadero derecho, y que como tal debe estar amparado por el Estado, con una política pública que entre otras apalanque la inversión que ha de dársele a la Educación, y que no sea vista como gasto, por que por ahí arrancan las mezquindades. Y de la mano con esta consideración, entender que no se puede seguir mirando la Educación como políticas de gobierno, toda vez que con las vanidades que manejan algunos gobernantes, terminan acabando las que no les gusta, y asintiendo las que les parece, es decir se deja al vaivén de los gobernantes de turno tomarlas o no.
Mientras estas manifestaciones, que hoy son masivas en el país, producto de la afectación en todas las instituciones educativas, resulten arrasadoras por el caudal que acuda a ellas, por la forma en que se reclame, y los argumentos que son muchos para ser escuchados por el estamento, no terminen como lastimosamente suele suceder, en desmanes, el destruir vidrios de ventanales de negocios que ninguna culpa tiene, y en arrojar papas bombas, y en tal sentido pueda resultar afectada la comunidad, o incluso los mismos que protestan, se estará haciendo un ejercicio legítimo, pues la protesta, como parte del derecho a revelarse ante lo injusto, resulta ser el elemento con que cuente la sociedad a la hora de llamar la atención de quienes en sus manos está el cambiar de dirección ante una forma indebida de gobernar, y de reconocer los derechos de los demás. Si se invierte en educación, nos podemos ahorrar centenares de policías, y en cambio sí tener formación adecuada a educadores, lugares dignos donde hacer docencia, y espacios de cambio, reflexión, e inclusión.
