Un huilense invitado especial al Segundo Seminario Latino Americano de Literatura Infantil, desarrollado en la capital de México, bajo la organización de la Fundación SM y su similar de Las Letras Mexicana.
El escritor Gerardo Meneses Claros, autor de “El último viaje de Bashi” y de “Danilo danilero cabeza de velero” forma parte de la plantilla de expertos que orienta el seminario que busca fomentar un espacio de reflexión y debate sobre el quehacer de la Literatura Infantil.
El segundo Seminario para creadores de literatura infantil y juvenil, se desarrolla desde el 13 de enero e irá hasta el 14 de julio del presente año y entre sus principales objetivos tiene el de formar y profesionalizar a los escritores de textos literarios para niños y jóvenes.
Este Seminario surge como una propuesta de formación académica estructurada, a fin de otorgar a quienes trabajan literatura destinada a la niñez y la juventud, conceptos teóricos y herramientas prácticas del oficio de escribir que ayuden a culminar una obra dirigida a este público.
Además del escritor colombiano, la plantilla docente está formada por profesionales especializados en los géneros de cuento, novela, dramaturgia y poesía, quienes poseen reconocimientos por su obra publicada, como Antonio Orlando Rodríguez, de Cuba, María Baranda, de México, Andrés Montero, de Chile, Nando López, de España y Andrea Fuentes, de México.
“Es una responsabilidad, pero también una satisfacción muy grande, que te vean de otras partes del mundo y escojan entre tantos escritores y escojan a uno de tu país para que sea maestro de otros escritores en formación y que de alguna manera tiene en ti un referente” dijo a Enredijo.com el escritor Gerardo menses Claros.
