La Corporación Autónoma Regional del Alto Magdalena ha demostrado avance importante en el uso de  instrumentos de Gobernanza Forestal, evidente en el progresivo aumento de nuevas empresas forestales registradas en el Huila, consiguiendo que el 70% firmaran el Pacto Intersectorial por la Madera Legal.

Este esfuerzo institucional, fue reconocido por el Ministerio de Ambiente y Desarrollo Sostenible, que desplazó a Neiva a Silvia Alicia Pombo Carrillo, Asesora de la Dirección de Ordenamiento Ambiental Territorial y Andrea Carranza Hernández del Ministerio de Ambiente y Desarrollo Sostenible, para que entregaran a La CAM un reconocimiento  especial, por liderar acciones encaminadas al fortalecimiento de la Gobernanza Forestal en el Huila.

“Queremos destacar las labores realizadas y el compromiso permanente de la CAM para el desarrollo de las actividades en el marco de la Gobernanza Forestal en el Huila durante los años 2016 y 2017, que permiten el desarrollo de un país más equitativo, sostenible y próspero”, dice el reconocimiento.

En su conjunto todas estas acciones desarrolladas por la entidad han contribuido enormemente en la reducción de  los índices de ilegalidad forestal  y la tasa de deforestación en Colombia, hechos que han sido destacados por entidades como el IDEAM. La CAM también ha participado de manera activa en comités y misiones de transferencia de conocimiento con otras autoridades ambientales del país, destaca el Ministerio.

A new borrower who have applied for a home loan or just about any loans as an example, knows that the worse credit rating is actually, the more tricky it is to obtain a decent mortgage.
