Como parte de la estrategia de atención a la primera infancia “De Cero a Siempre”, María Clemencia Rodríguez de Santos, se pondrá el primer ladrillo para la construcción de un centro de desarrollo infantil en Tesalia, Huila, este 14 de febrero.

El proyecto, tendrá capacidad para 160 niños y niñas de primera infancia, y para la construcción contará con apoyo financiero del Departamento Administrativo de la Presidencia de la República, el Ministerio de Cultura y la Financiera del Desarrollo Territorial, FINDETER.

La obra que tendrá un área de 1.496 m2 y un costo de $2.547 millones,  se espera que entre en funcionamiento  en agosto de este año; y a concepción de la iniciativa está cabo bajo los lineamientos de infraestructura para la atención de primera infancia del ICBF que dispuso la definición de zonas educativas, administrativas, circulación, servicios y alimentación.

El acto de colocación de la primera piedra, hace parte de la gira que realizará la esposa del Presidente de la República, por el Huila y que  incluye una visita  al desierto de La Tatacoa  en Villavieja.
