El compromiso surgió del encuentro realizado en la sede de la Asamblea Departamental, en Florencia, contó con asistencia de la Dirección de Política contra las Drogas y Actividades Relacionadas del Ministerio de Justicia y del Derecho.
El montaje del Centro incluye un estudio para fortalecer el equipamiento tecnológico de la Dirección Antinarcóticos de la región; el suministro de material para el programa de Prevención del Consumo de Sustancias Psicoactivas que aumente cobertura en el Departamento y la generación de un mecanismo que contribuya a articular los órganos administrativos creados para abordar la sustitución de cultivos e impulsar los programas del SENA y de la Secretaría de Agricultura con la Agencia de Renovación del Territorio.
En la reunión se concretó hacer un llamado a los alcaldes para que cumplan la Ley 1641 de 2013, que exige garantizar, promocionar, proteger y restablecer los derechos al habitante de calle para lograr atención integral, rehabilitación e inclusión social.
