La contratación de personal a la extracción, por intermedio de empresas privadas, se incrementó en cerca de 5% durante el primer semestre del 2022 en el Huila.
Un reporte de la gerencia de Desarrollo y Producción Andina de ECOPETROL, revela que, en los 6 primeros meses del 2022, se emplearon 1.375 personas, de las cuales 546 corresponden a trabajadores inclusivos y de difícil inserción laboral, como mujeres, personas con discapacidad, primer empleo, grupos étnicos y víctimas de conflicto armado.

El crecimiento en la contratación, a través de empresas asociadas a la industria extractora, se debe principalmente al incremento de las ejecuciones operacionales y las actividades en los proyectos de inversiones, ejecutados por ECOPETROL en el territorio, de acuerdo a los análisis de la propia estatal empresa.
A lo anterior se agrega que, 817 trabajadores oriundos del Huila ejecutan actividades en otros municipios, a nivel nacional, asociados a contratos comerciales de ECOPETROL.
“Tenemos un compromiso genuino con el desarrollo regional y con la contratación del talento huilense. Del total de la contratación generada en el departamento, el 96% corresponde a mano de obra local, tanto calificada como no calificada y continuaremos trabajando en ese sentido”, señaló Héctor Leonardo Solarte, gerente de Desarrollo y Producción Andina de ECOPETROL.
