Nadie puede poner en duda que uno de los factores generadores de violencia, es la atroz desigualdad social, porque no se puede llamar de otra forma por las desastrosas consecuencias que tiene para la sociedad colombiana, como que literalmente podemos ser campeones en la materia para vergüenza mundial, y así lo ha confirmado el más destacado economista liberal social demócrata del orbe, Thomas Piketty, quien como invitado especial a la conmemoración de los 70 años de la facultad de economía de la Universidad Nacional, ratificó esta cruel situación reiterando su propuesta contenida en su obra El capitalismo del siglo XXI, de establecer un impuesto mundial al capital que el mismo considera una utopía, pero muy útil para evitar la espiral de desigualdad regulando la concentración de capitales para repartir los ingresos armoniosamente.

Y su propuesta es muy sencilla: Aboga por el financiamiento público de la política, que en este país contaminado hasta la médula por un podrido sistema electoral que fomenta la corrupción se pide a gritos, porque la desigualdad lleva a la captura como lo estamos viendo, de todas las instituciones para ponerlas al servicio de la plaga corruptora impidiendo los cambios sociales. El establecimiento de impuestos progresivos al gran capital y una mayor inversión en la educación pública, entre otras medidas complementarias, que por supuesto nunca se han tomado en Colombia para combatir esa aberrante desigualdad.

Y es que en materia de desigualdad tenemos estas aterradoras cifras que pueden ser mayores, producto de un sistema fiscal injusto, de la corrupción y flujos ilícitos de capitales, distribución injusta de la inversión y el gasto público, distribución injusta de la tierra, acceso desigual al capital, conocimiento, tecnología y privatización: ingredientes todos que concurren para el merecido galardón orbital que concentra el 80 por ciento de la riqueza en el 10 por ciento de la población, con el agravante de que el 50 por ciento de la población solo tiene acceso al 1 por ciento de esa riqueza.

En suma, un amenazante coctel que, de no ser desactivado, generaría un peligroso estallido social que solo se puede contener con la satisfacción ciudadana de sus apremiantes necesidades sociales con disminución de esa vil desigualdad, o con la receta que siempre ha ofrecido el voraz y corrupto establecimiento, cual es más violencia y represión.

Porque lo más grave de esta situación, es que el establecimiento ha hecho todo lo posible para generarla, como se lee en un escrito que circula por las redes sociales, que lo describe como la administración de una banda de borrachos buscapleitos en motocicletas, por la forma además como se ha atendido la propiedad sobre la tierra para desarrollar el campo, y el fomento a la voracidad financiera, que según Jesucristo habría considerado a los mercaderes del templo como inofensivos adolescentes comparados con los patanes voraces que controlan el sistema financiero privado en Colombia. Pero bastó que Piketty hablara de esta brutal desigualdad ofreciendo asesorar a Petro, para que el corrupto establecimiento, todos a una, salieran a descalificarlo por intervenir indebidamente en política, sindicándolo de comunista.
