La firma de acuerdo de comodato entre el Municipio de Villavieja y la Institución Educativa Gabriel Plazas, se concreta el proyecto de comedor bioclimático diseñado por estudiantes del plantel educativo, ganador del premio internacional ‘Zayed Energía del futuro´ otorgado en Abu Dabi en enero del presente año.
El premio estuvo para perderse, porque el alcalde y el rector de la Institución, no hicieron ningún tipo de esfuerzo para consolidar la iniciativa que tuvo reconocimiento internacional.
Fue necesario que La Gobernación del Huila, a través de la Oficina de Productividad y Competitividad, sirviera de garante para que el alcalde local, cediera terreno al establecimiento educativo donde desarrollará el proyecto, que adicionalmente beneficiará al turismo de la localidad.
APORTE DEPARTAMENTAL
Patricia Aranaga, coordinadora de Ciencia, Tecnología e Innovación Departamental, aseguró que el recurso del premio (100.000 dólares), es insuficiente para hacer realidad este sueño de estudiantes y docentes de la institución educativa Gabriel Plazas de Villavieja.
“Es por eso que el Departamento participa de este tipo de procesos, en el que además de servir como garante para el acuerdo al que se llegó entre el Municipio y la institución educativa, también aportará los diseños de construcción de este prototipo de comedor bioclimático, a través de ingenieros y arquitectos del Departamento.
A través de recursos de Ciencia, Tecnología e Innovación aportará los recursos faltantes para finiquitar este proyecto”, señaló Aranaga.
ATRACCIÓN TURÍSTICA PARA VILLAVIEJA
El alcalde de Villavieja, Yordan Aris Pacheco, reconoció que el proyecto será atractivo turístico importante para su municipio.
“Hemos entregado el terreno a la institución educativa Gabriel Plazas para poder iniciar la obra. Pronto iniciaremos, con el apoyo del Gobernador Carlos Julio González Villa, la construcción de la infraestructura que terminaría en enero del año entrante. Los 100.000 dólares del premio se destinarán para la compra de tecnología que aprovecha las energías limpias como paneles solares y energía eólica y mecánica”, dijo el mandatario.
El alcalde anunció que el restaurante bioclimático, una vez construido, además de generar un atractivo turístico, servirá como sitio de conferencias y generará recursos al colegio.
