Rodrigo Armando Lara Sánchez, entre los 100 mejores
alcaldes del país, según Colombia Líder

El alcalde Rodrigo Lara Sánchez hace parte de los siete mejores mandatarios de ciudades capitales con menos de 500 mil habitantes según una amplia evaluación que realizan expertos para Colombia Líder y la Universidad del Rosario.
De este grupo saldrán tres ganadores que se conocerá en diciembre de 2019 luego que el jurado calificador realice nuevas mediciones del desempeño de los alcaldes en temas como transparencia, educación, gestión, manejo de finanzas entre otros factores.
En total fueron evaluados 1.101 municipios y 32 departamentos, Neiva ya está entre los mejores 100 según la información entregada por la entidad Colombia Líder que dividió por categorías las nominaciones.
Desde 2010, la organización entrega esta distinción que se ha convertido en uno de los mejores balances de la gestión de los administradores locales. Los retos que enfrentan alcaldes y gobernadores en sus territorios en materia de infraestructura, salud, medioambiente y educación son evaluados por un equipo que trabajan de la mano con los gestores políticos y sociales.
“Nos llena de orgullo este reconocimiento que surge gracias al equipo de trabajo, a los gremios y claramente de la ciudadanía que trabaja con nosotros en el desarrollo de la ciudad. Todos soñamos con una Neiva sostenible y en eso trabajamos todos los días”, expresó el alcalde Rodrigo Lara a propósito de la nominación.
La ceremonia de entrega de resultados del primer filtro de evaluación del premio se realizó en el auditorio Mutis, de la Universidad del Rosario, en la ciudad de Bogotá.
El premio se entregará en 8 grandes categorías. 6 para municipios y 2 para departamentos, así: Categoría 1: municipios de menos de 10.000 habitantes, categoría 2: Municipios entre 10.001 y 20.000 habitantes, categoría 3: Municipios entre 20.001 y 100.000 habitantes, categoría 4: municipios de más de 100.001 habitantes, Categoría 5: Ciudades capitales de menos de 500.000 habitantes, categoría 6: ciudades capitales de más de 500.001 habitantes, y las categorías 7 y 8 según la categorización departamental del Departamento Nacional de Planeación.
Los alcaldes de municipios y capitales serán evaluados a partir de los siguientes indicadores: recursos propios, habitantes afiliados al régimen subsidiado de salud, número de vacunas pentavalentes, participación de los profesores en el escalafón docente, resultados en las pruebas saber, hurtos por cada 100.000 habitantes, cobertura en acueducto y alcantarillado, electrificación rural, recolección del impuesto predial, instrumentos de planeación, gobierno en línea, áreas destinadas para preservación ambiental, desempeño municipal, gestión del riesgo, y fallecidos y lesionados en siniestros viales.
El Premio será entregado el 11 de diciembre del 2019 en la ciudad de Bogotá.
LOGROS DEL ALCALDE
– Convirtió a Neiva en la mejor ciudad del país en educación básica y media Y la tercera ciudad con más progresos en las pruebas saber.
– Más de 20 escenarios deportivos nuevos en Neiva.
-50 kilómetros de vías pavimentadas en la ciudad.
– La intervención del 100% de los centros educativos de la zona urbana y rural
-Terminación, dotación y puesta en marcha del CAIMI.
-1.811 niños y jóvenes vinculados al programa Manos y Sonidos para la paz.
– Alcalde Pilo de Colombia por su trabajo por la primera infancia.
Más de 4.000 adultos mayores beneficiados a través de los centros vidas de la zona rural y urbana.
Convirtió a Neiva en la primera ciudad del país en usar pliegos tipo y en contratar 100% a través de la plataforma Secop II.
– Pasó de uno a 10 oferentes en los procesos de licitación.
– El 71% de sus proveedores son de la ciudad,
– Subió doce puntos la calificación de transparencia.
-15.000 padres vinculados al programa escuelas de familia para una mejor convivencia en los colegios.
– Construye 12 kilómetros de placa huella en la zona rural.
– Reforzó el mantenimiento de vías con un kit de maquinaria.
