El programa “Mis Mejores años” de COMFAMILIAR celebró su vigésimo primer sampedrito en el Parque Acuático Playa Juncal, en compañía de los abuelitos de las cuatro sedes: Cámbulos, UIS Sur, UIS Norte y el Juncal. A ritmo de bambucos, sanjuaneros, y muestras artísticas los adultos mayores disfrutaron de un día de jolgorio y alegría entre las diferentes comitivas y barras que se sumaron a la gran fiesta sampedrina.
Jorge Ernesto Ávila, Coordinador Programa Adulto Mayor, expresó «Este año cumplimos veintiún años de estar al servicio de los huilenses con este hermoso programa, disfrutamos de los actos folclóricos de las diferentes sedes, gozamos y compartimos en familia de las interpretaciones del bambuco tradicional de nuestras candidatas».
Entre orquestas, bailes del bambuco tradicional y asado huilense fue escogida Teresa Chávez de la sede «Juncal Años Dorados» como la nueva Reina del Programa Adulto Mayor 2016.
Pero la jornada no solamente incluyó reinas. La música campesina, los Rajaleñas, las danzas y comparsas animaron a los asistentes, quienes gozaron con los aires más tradicionales del departamento del Huila.
«Estamos muy contentos y agradecidos con COMFAMILIAR porque nos han hecho participe de esta festividad tan importante para el Huila y para nosotros los adultos de la tercera edad, hoy presentamos una rumba opita, la gente estuvo contenta y nosotros muy bien atendidos» expresó Rosa Elvia Malpica del programa Adulto Mayor.
El equipo de trabajo del programa “Mis Mejores años” engalanó con presentación folclórica de las regiones de Colombia a los adultos mayores para cerrar con broche de oro este evento sampedrino. «Es importante representar nuestras fiestas culturales con ellos para que se motiven y vean que sus instructores están vinculados, esto lo hicimos con mucho amor y cariño para ellos» Añadió Faizuly Quintero instructora programa.
