En 15 meses, más de 220 comparendos se impusieron en Huila por conducir vehículos a velocidad superior a la máxima permitida, según las cifras reportadas por los organismos de tránsito huilenses al Sistema Integrado de Información sobre Multas y Sanciones por Infracciones de Tránsito – Simit, de la Federación Colombiana de Municipios.
“El 7 de mayo un accidente de tránsito causado por exceso de velocidad cobró la vida del joven jugador de fútbol Eduard Gutiérrez y dejó gravemente herida a su novia quien días después lamentablemente falleció; el exceso de velocidad no puede seguir siendo una de las causas de muerte de los colombianos” aseguró Sandra Milena Tapias Mena, Directora Nacional Simit.
Y afirmó que “según lo reportado por los organismos de tránsito, en el Huila los conductores de vehículos particulares son los que más infringen los límites de velocidad establecidos; de 221 comparendos impuestos 195 corresponden a particulares.”
La Federación Colombiana de Municipios – Dirección Nacional Simit, invita a los huilenses y a todos los colombianos a respetar las normas de tránsito con el fin de disminuir los índices de accidentalidad en el país y asimismo sí mismo los incidentes fatales en las vías.
