Un grupo de congresistas del Huila, solicitó acompañamiento especial al Ministro del Trabajo Luis Eduardo Garzón y la Superintendente del Subsidio Familiar, Griselda Janeth Restrepo, para COMFAMILIAR, entidad que podría verse abocada a una grave crisis sino se establecen medidas especiales para protegerla.
Según los congresistas el panorama podría oscurecerse en poco tiempo, por el deterioro progresivo de los indicadores financieros que presenta la EPS de la entidad como lo reveló la propia Superintendente.
La intención es evitar a toda costa la profundidad de esa crisis, para lo que plantearon al Ministro de Trabajo, a su equipo asesor y la y la Superintendente, establecer un plan y una ruta la contrarreste.
A la reunión asistió el director general de La Caja de Compensación Familiar del Huila, Harold Salamanca Falla, quien escuchó con atención los lineamientos de los voceros del Gobierno Nacional, pensando en el futuro de la entidad.
“Es imperativo organizar una reunión con el Ministro de la Protección Social para adelantar unas mesas de trabajo en las que tengan participación gobernador y alcaldes pensando en la sostenibilidad de la caja”, dijo en su intervención el Ministro del Trabajo Luis Eduardo Garzón.
La Superintendente del Subsidio Familiar, reconoció que las directivas de la caja de Compensación están cumpliendo con los porcentajes de avance establecidos en el plan de mejoramiento definido para esa entidad.
La preocupación regional, es la estabilidad económica de la entidad, porque el esquema de la salud a través de la EPS de la institución se está llevando los recursos que podrían ser invertidos en programas y planes para la clase trabajadora.
COMFAMILIAR puede entrar en grave crisis porque La EPS está desangrando a la entidad y su sostenimiento puede tornarse insostenible.
