El DANE, aplicará entre julio y septiembre de este año, la encuesta “EL CAMPESINO SI CUENTA”, primera actividad de este género, para buena parte de esta población en los municipios del país, según lo revela La Procuraduría 11 Judicial II Ambiental y Agrario para el Huila.
La encuesta no es una decisión voluntaria del Departamento Administrativo Nacional de Estadística, sino una disposición judicial que, mediante la Sentencia STP2028-2018 Radicación N° 96414, la Corte Suprema de Justicia, falló tutela presentada por las asociaciones nacionales: ANZORC, ANUC, FENSUAGRO-CUT, ACIT, FUNDECIMA y 1.770 campesinos de todo el país que pedían ser incluidos dentro de las estadísticas oficiales.
Las organizaciones campesinas demandantes y las entidades involucradas en el fallo conformaron una mesa de expertos para la conceptualización del campesino y la definición de las preguntas que permitirían contabilizar a esta población a inicios de 2018. Producto de este trabajo, el DANE se comprometió a incluir estas preguntas por ahora en la Encuesta de Cultura Política, la Encuesta Nacional Agropecuaria y la Gran Encuesta de los Hogares.
De conformidad con lo precisado, La procuraduría General de la Nación, a través del suscrito, les solicita respetuosamente su apoyo y colaboración en la difusión de las piezas informativas adjuntas, con el fin de promover que los encuestados respondan las preguntas sobre campesinado incluidas en la Encuesta de Cultura
¿DE QUÉ SE TRATA LA ENCUESTA?
Es la Encuesta de Cultura Política, quiere indagará qué percepción tiene la ciudadanía sobre temas como la democracia, los partidos políticos, las elecciones y las instituciones.
¿EN QUÉ CONSITEN LAS PREGUNTAS SOBRE CAMPESINADO?
La persona encuestada podrá responder si se identifica como campesina, si pertenece a organizaciones campesinas, si votaría por campesinos a cargos de elección popular y que tanto creé que se protegen los derechos de esta población, entre otros temas.
¿PORQUÉ HABRÁ PREGUNTAS SOBRTE CAMPESINADO?
Porque así lo ordenó La Corte Suprema en 2018, como respuesta a una tutela que presentaron mas de 1.700 campesinos y campesinas del país pidiéndole al estado que recoja información estadística sobre esta población.
Este es un logro de varias organizaciones campesinas que han trabajado durante años para que sus voces también sean contadas
