El SENA para propender que la oferta educativa esté conectada de manera pertinente con las necesidades del mercado laboral, entre ellas, el de dominar un segundo idioma, dispone de 840 mil cupos para que huilenses y colombianos, durante este año, se inscriban a los 10 niveles gratuitos virtuales de formación en bilingüismo.
La iniciativa, denominada English Dot Works – que fortalece habilidades lingüísticas y comunicativas del idioma inglés a través de actividades virtuales e interactivas –, está a disposición de los interesados en la plataforma virtual del SENA las 24 horas del día desde cualquier lugar del país con acceso a internet. Igualmente, el aprendiz tendrá la oportunidad de asistir a sesiones explicativas o ver las grabaciones en el horario que se le facilite.
Los cupos ofertados por el SENA para este proceso de formación corresponden a los niveles A1 (principiantes) A2 (básico) y B1 (pre intermedio), programas que permiten comprender y utilizar las expresiones cotidianas y frases sencillas de uso frecuente relacionadas con el diario vivir de las personas (la familia, compras, lugares de interés, ocupaciones); así como la capacidad de producir y comprender textos.
Cada uno de los niveles, de 60 horas de duración, está integrado con recursos y herramientas interactivas que le permitirán al aprendiz poner en práctica sus saberes y ampliar su conocimiento. Además, los instructores para este proceso de formación cuentan con nivel B2 o C1 de acuerdo con el Marco Común Europeo de Referencia, quienes orientan día tras día al aprendiz y los ayudan a resolver dudas lingüísticas y técnicas.
Este programa de formación permite desarrollar capacidades de autonomía en el aprendizaje, lo que conlleva a que el aprendiz reconozca sus estrategias de aprendizaje y las emplee efectivamente en su formación en inglés.
Los ciudadanos interesados deben ingresar a www.sena.edu.co y buscar, en la parte inferior izquierda, el cuadro que dice ‘¿Qué quiere estudiar?’. Allí deben seleccionar ‘Formación virtual’, escribir la palabra ‘Inglés’ y pulsar clic en ‘Buscar’; en la siguiente pantalla deben abrir la información del curso y escoger la opción ‘Ver más’; una nueva ventana mostrará las características y requisitos del curso y mostrará la ruta de inscripción
O, para mayor facilidad, en la parte inferior derecha de la página web www.sena.edu.co se encuentra un banner azul de Inglés Virtual que lo lleva directamente a la inscripción.
Si aún no está registrado en la aplicación SofiaPlus, debe inscribirse primero y después seguir el paso a paso de la inscripción.
Cabe recordar que las inscripciones a los cursos de formación en ingles virtual en el SENA son continuas, permanentes y gratuitas.
