La Mujer es uno de los fundamentos de la sociedad en toda la historia de la humanidad y un baluarte para el desarrollo de todas las formas de producción, a pesar de la discriminación a la que ha sido sometida en distintas eras de la existencia del ser pensante.
Fue necesario que 146 Trabajadoras murieran calcinadas en el interior de la fábrica textil Cotton de New York, el 8 de marzo de 1.908 cuando agentes patronales, lanzaron bombas, para acallar el clamor que hacían para el pago de salarios, mejores condiciones laborales, reducción de las horas de trabajo y aplicación de mínimas normas de atención humana, para que se declarara El Día Internacional de la Mujer.
Esta fecha no tiene sentido comercial, sino que debe ser ocasión para exaltar el papel de la mujer en la historia de la humanidad, y así lo entiende La Corporación de Periodistas, Comunicadores Sociales y Trabajadores de Los Medios de Comunicación del Huila.
PROGRAMACIÓN
La Corporación para festejar esta efemérides, desarrollará el jueves 8 de marzo de 8.00 am a10.00 am, por la estación 95.3 FM de Neiva, el programa radial “IMPORTANCIA DE LA MUJER EN LA SOCIEDAD”.
“Es un programa para destacar el trabajo que la mujer ejerce y sus contribución con el desarrollo de la sociedad, hoy más que, y destacar su importancia como elemento fundamental en la vida de la humanidad” precisó José Ignacio Valencia Presidente de CORPEHUILA.
La emisión, con la conducción de Luís Fernando Escobar MAKENA, contará con la presencia de connotadas mujeres que contarán el trabajo que desarrollan en la empresa, organización o institución donde actúan, exteriorizando la capacidad intelectual y de liderazgo para el desempeño de su accionar.
El sábado 17 de marzo, CORPEHUILA completará este festejo con el encuentro de sus socias, durante una jornada lúdica especial, que se aprovechará para exaltar a varias de Las Periodistas en el ejercicio, durante los últimos doce meses.
La Corporación como gremio periodístico de la región, es filial, a nivel Nacional de FECOLPER y en el ámbito internacional pertenece a la FIP y a La Federación de Periodistas de América Latina y el Caribe – FEPALC –
