Esa participación es un lujo que cuesta y las posibilidades de triunfo son lejanas, además varias de las jóvenes representantes no son oriundas del municipio que representan o escasamente uno de sus progenitores nació en la localidad pero residen fuera desde hace muchos año.
La Corporación para la Promoción de la Cultura y el Turismo del Huila, CORPOSANPEDRO, reveló que los municipios participantes este año son: Aipe, Algeciras, Baraya, Campoalegre, Colombia, Garzón, Gigante, Guadalupe, Hobo, Íquira, La Plata, Oporapa, Palermo, Palestina, Pitalito, Rivera, Saladoblanco, Tarqui, Tello, Villavieja y Yaguará.
