Una nueva oferta de formación virtual lanza el SENA a nivel nacional que da cuenta de 700 mil cupos para que los interesados complementen o actualicen conocimientos en áreas como Agroecología y desarrollo rural, Redes y seguridad, Teletrabajo para empleados, Gastronomía colombiana y Desarrollo de nuevas estrategias comerciales, entre otros. En total son más de 260 cursos en diferentes áreas que están disponibles las 24 horas del día.
Así mismo, se ofertarán 300 mil cupos para que los colombianos se inscriban a los 10 cursos gratuitos virtuales de formación en inglés. Este proceso permitirá comprender expresiones cotidianas y frases sencillas relacionadas con el diario vivir de las personas, así como poseer la capacidad de producir y comprender textos en este idioma.
Cabe anotar que la meta en 2017 para asignación de cupos en cursos cortos de Formación Complementaria Virtual es de más de 2 millones 100 mil y en inglés virtual es de cerca de 840 mil cupos.
Entre las ventajas de la formación virtual se destaca la flexibilidad de horarios que permiten adquirir un proceso formativo en cualquier momento y lugar. Esta modalidad formativa es una opción para las personas que presentan dificultad de asistir de manera presencial al SENA, o que se encuentran en zonas de difícil acceso.
Al respecto de la oferta, la directora general del SENA, María Andrea Nieto, manifestó: “en el SENA tenemos una formación de 10 niveles que es totalmente gratuita. Adicionalmente, contamos con 700 mil cupos para cursos complementarios que les permitirá a muchos colombianos conseguir un trabajo digno o mejorar sus condiciones donde laboran”.
Los ciudadanos interesados en los cursos cortos y de inglés virtual deben ingresar a www.sena.edu.co y buscar en la parte inferior izquierda el cuadro que dice: ‘¿Qué quiere estudiar?’. Allí debe seleccionar ‘Formación virtual’, escribir la palabra relacionada al curso corto o ‘Inglés’ y pulsar clic en ‘Buscar’. En la siguiente pantalla deben abrir la información del curso y escoger la opción ‘Ver más’; una nueva ventana mostrará las características y requisitos del curso y facilitará la ruta de inscripción.
Si aún no está registrado en la aplicación SofiaPlus, debe inscribirse primero y después seguir el paso a paso de la inscripción.
Cabe recordar que las inscripciones a los cursos cortos de formación complementaria y de inglés virtual en el SENA son continuas, permanentes y gratuitas.
