Un operativo especial, permitió detener a Félix Eduardo Díaz Rojas, quien huía de la justicia, por la imputación del delito de prevaricato y omisión a grabada en ejercicio de funciones propias de autoridad competente.
La detención la realizaron miembros del Cuerpo Técnico de Investigación en céntrico billar de Neiva, precisó vocero de la Fiscalia Regional.
Díaz Rojas lo solicitaba el Tribunal Superior de Neiva, tras la condena a 54 meses de presión, mediante fallo del 10 de marzo del 2020, por cuanto en febrero de 2018 dejó en libertad a 3 personas capturadas, cuando transportaban 20 kilogramos de Marihuana, en el baúl de un vehículo particular, decisión tomada siendo Fiscal adscrito a la Unidad de Reaccion Inmediata.
Con la condena también implica suspensión por 90 meses para ejercen Derechos y Funciones Públicas por desconocer su obligación y deber legal de adelantar la acción penal e investigar por el delito cometido.
